“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” — Pres. Theodore Roosevelt
I hear a lot of people say, “I’m going to start _____ when I get my stuff together.” My response to that is, “Why wait until you have your stuff together to start?” If Harriet Tubman had waited until she could afford to buy her freedom before she took it, hundreds would have had to wait for freedom. If Thomas Edison has waited until he knew everything about energy to develop the light bulb, someone might have beaten him to it. Don’t let your opportunity to help others or to be an innovator pass you up. Begin taking action as soon as possible. That way, if an opportunity comes, you can take full advantage of it. You are able. It’s all about taking that first step that leads to the second and the second step that leads to the third and so on and so forth.
