Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. — 1 Timothy 4:12
My blog is applicable to any professional, but I write for those ages 17 – 30. That being said, we are often looked down upon for our inexperience in many fields of business. To that I implore you to be confident while remaining humble. The Bible verse above can be applied to any path you find yourself on in life. We are young and still learning but we are not imbeciles. If given a chance, make sure you succeed so that you do not only build your own credibility but also others of this generation. If enough of us, as young people, are successful, we will no longer be seen as anomalies but instead as the norm. Do not stress, but it would also behoove you not to slight the importance of every opportunity to be succeed. You never know which one will be your big break. We are young, but we are very able. Let’s turn the perception of our generation around and let the world know we are here to make a change.
