I Choose Now

Life is tough.  We all know that.  We can either wait for it to get easier (which probably won’t happen without a catalyst) or we can grind it out.  If doing the same thing isn’t working, try doing something different.  In 8 days, I turn 26.  “Now or never” means more to me than many people know.  Sure, I’m not “old” but I’m not where I want to be at this age so every single “right now” is another chance to do something that is going to better your life.  Sure, you might not have a job or might not be doing as well as you’d like to in school but why not let today be the day you decide to turn things around?  Life is too short to wait on things to come to you.  Sure, God’s time is His time and I don’t believe in rushing Him (not that you could if you wanted to) but you need to be preparing yourself for greatness.  For instance, to me that means I need to be saving money, even if its in a job that I don’t want to make a career.  Because, when He gives me my shot, I want to be able to get up and move to NYC or LA or wherever at that exact moment.  Now or never.  I choose now.
