This morning, I was listening to this song I love called “Cat’s in the Cradle” by Harry Chapin and all I could think about was times that I won’t get to have with loved ones who have passed on. So, today’s motivation isn’t about being the best you can at your job. I talk about that almos every week. This week is about being the best family member and friend you can be. Of course you can’t hangout with your significant other or kids or friends or parents all the time but don’t let too long go without making a great memory with someone you love. Those memories are what get us through the tough days and, when we’re gone or they’re gone, they will give us comfort. Anyway, click play below. “Cat’s in the Cradle” has always been a favorite of mine because, in it, the kid wanted to be just like his dad when he was little and then he ended up just like his dad. Let the people you care for know how much you care by giving them the most valuable thing you can: your time.
