Appreciate the Good and the Bad

If you live on the east coast of the United States, you know that it hasn’t felt much like spring. Even in the southeast, we’re still dealing with frosted windshields and April is 16 hours away. But it’s this weather that makes us appreciate the warmer months. Without cold days spent inside, the heat-infused ones we enjoy on the beach would be meaningless. The same is true for life. Without some semblance of struggle, you will never truly appreciate your successes. And, just as long winters make us thankful for even one sunny day, long trials will add value to every success. So be grateful for everything and don’t give up when things get hard. Change is going to come.
