Thank Yourself


It’s a new day and the beginning of a new week. Use today to start a new habit and/or break an old one. Don’t make excuses, make time. There is so much that can be done with your 24 hours if you will just push yourself past your comfort zone. Sometimes you’ll have to finish a rough late shift and then stay up until 2 to finish job applications. Other times, you’ll have to go straight to the gym from work because we all know that, once you cross that threshold, it’s over. And even other times, you’ll have to tell people that you can’t afford to hang out because you’re saving for your future. But whatever you have to do today to make tomorrow better, do it. And, when tomorrow comes, you or someone who relies on you will thank you, not necessarily for that one sacrifice but for all of your sacrifices that led to that point.
