Don’t Become A Slave

Slavery is not a word that America likes to discuss.  But many of us are slaves.  We clock in, clock out, and are provided with minimal compensation as a result.  I am a firm believer that you should do what you love and be paid to do it.  But many of us are afraid to take that step.  My question to those of you who question yourselves is: Would you rather live in fear or freedom.  I, for one, choose freedom.  Does that mean I won’t work a “job?”  No.  But I am always setting myself up to be self-sufficient.  I should not be waiting on the guillotine to drop on my head when the budget no longer has room for me and neither should you.
