Processes always have had and always will have flaws. There is always something in your organization that can be improved upon. As a leader, it is up to you to seek these flaws out and eradicate them. “But you said there is always something that can be improved upon? So when will my job be done?” HA! It won’t be. A leader’s job is never truly done.
“Ok. But what if I’m not the leader?” Well, as a non-management employee, it’s your responsibility to make management aware of the flaws you see in the system and propose solutions. If you don’t, there’s no point in complaining to your coworkers.
Everyone plays a role in perfecting organizational processes. Don’t be lazy and let things fall apart just because you don’t want to work a little harder.
Make professional development a priority.
