Let Me Backtrack

Yesterday, I wrote about the death of the business card.  And, it was an idealistic post.  So I want to clarify: Do not stop ordering business cards.  I repeat, do NOT stop.  As illogical as they may be, they are a cultural business staple.  I have business cards.  My clients have business cards.  There is something professional and necessary in Western Society about the exchange of a small piece of paper.  So please don’t take what I said literally.  The business card isn’t dead.  It just should be.  But, since it’s not, invest in them to the point that will help your clients take your business seriously.
Make professional development a priority.
