It Starts in the Kitchen

We’ve been bulking all winter.  Lifting, eating, putting on muscle.  Now it’s time to cut up for the summertime.  And you’re doing all the cardio and HIIT you can but those pounds just aren’t falling off like you’d like them to, are they?  Well, I have one question for you: What are you eating?  When it comes to how you want to look, what you eat is just as important as how you workout.  Actually, it’s more important.  So cut back on a lot of the heavier starches in the spring if cutting up is your goal.  Go with a chicken Caesar salad as opposed to steak and potatoes.  Have fruit for breakfast instead of a hearty bowl of oatmeal.  Keep working out and watch the transformation take place after a few weeks.

It’s ok to have a cheat day every now and then if you’re not training for a specific event but don’t go overboard.
