Day 7: Last Train to Paris

Today we woke up to cloudy skies and realized it was our final day in London and we needed to make the most of it.  So, we checked out of our Airbnb and made our way to the London Fan Museum.  I thought fan was a name but it was actually a museum about fans.  The real reason we went is because they had a place for noon tea.  Turned out to be quite an experience.  Hopefully next time the weather will be better for tea than it was this time.

Following the museum, we went to the train station and got our Eurostar tickets to Paris, had lunch at this magnificent pub called Fuller’s near St. Pancreas International, and then hopped on our train.  3 hours later, we were in Paris, France trying to decipher the French street signs.  One thing was certain upon reaching the apartment: the language barrier would make this the most trying leg of our trip.  Even ordering dinner from our English-speaking waiter at the café proved to be a challenge.  Thankfully, my dreams needed no translation.

Make exploration a priority.
