What Are You Working On?

Folks, not having a business of your own doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be working on something outside of work.  Actually, I am a firm believer that everyone needs to be working on something that they can take ownership over.  So, whether building a car is your thing, starting a non-profit, or taking ownership over a ministry at church/program at the community center, you need something that you can be responsible for.

This weekend, take the time to find out what you want to invest a percentage of your “free” time in.  And it can’t be watching television unless you’re going to start a television review journal/blog.

If you don’t have something you love, you’ll hate every single day.

Make professional development a priority.
