I’m sitting here on a Friday evening watching a film about a young man who is going to die. He is about my age. He is a quadriplegic and has only 6 months to live. Now, at 28 and a half, of course I don’t think about dying tomorrow. Life expectancy is in the 70s, right? But stuff happens and, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it could happen to any of us. Me. You. Your loved one. So, I have a suggestion. Create a bucket list tomorrow. Make some of the items on it things you’re terrified of but that also excite you (example: I am deathly afraid of heights but on my list, I am putting a roller coaster-filled day). And, every year, complete at least 3 items until you’ve finished the list. By the end of 2016, you have to finish at least one, but shoot for two.
Life comes. Life goes. Experiences are all we really have. Make yourself happy. Those smiles are all you can take with you.

Make living a priority.
