The time it takes to make yourself a bit better every day is worth it. it’s easier to build strength than it is to repair brokenness. So build yourself up everyday, piece by piece. Apply for a job. Read a book. Write an article. Run a few miles. Because the alternative is rely on social security. Work until you’re 80. Be unable to take care of yourself at too early of an age.
Starting at 5 PM today, I’ll be on vacation and, as usual, won’t be posting about professional development (though I will probably be keeping you all abreast of this upcoming excursion like I did on my European adventure). I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, fully of family, fun, food, and maybe a bit of football.
Make professional development a priority.
