Hold On To Something

I’m a firm believer in doing your best. If you’re at work and you’re being paid for it, go hard or go home. What I don’t believe in is giving up your process to everyone. Your process, the one which has gotten you to a point that you are known as an expert in something, is for you to hold on to. You’re not an expert on tweeting or posting to Instagram, so you can share the basics to that. But you may want to keep your creative strategy in your back pocket because that adds value to you as a necessary entity on a project or at an organization.

Make professional development a priority.
