Tonight, I realized what this stage of being successful looks like for me. It looks like this.
2018 has been nuts for me, in a great way. I’m maximizing my time, seeing the results, and finding/being presented with opportunities. I’m up from 4:40 AM to 10:30 or 11 PM. I’m involved in the community. I’ve developed a solid and consistent workout plan. My spiritual growth is a priority. I’ve finally committed to writing a book. Oh, and I’m in my office for at least 40 hours week. I could keep going but, the point is, I’m actually doing impactful things and seeing results.
Tonight, all that doing hit me in the face. I laid down for a quick nap and (kinda) woke up three hours later. That nap wasn’t budgeted into my Friday night’s activity plan. Being a successful person isn’t about the parties and not doing anything all the time. Sometimes, it’s about being so tired, you can’t do anything.
Make going back to sleep a priority.
