Deryle Antony Daniels, Jr. has over 10 years of experience in the fields of marketing, communications, and fundraising with universities, community organizations, small businesses, startups, and major corporations.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Deryle graduated from the esteemed Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools system and moved on to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. While there, he was active on campus, serving on the new student orientation staff, president of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and in many other leadership capacities.
Soon after graduation from UNCG, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he began Daniels Professional Development Company in 2012, a business that allowed him to build on his passion of branding and developing young adults into young professionals. Since then, he has also taken steps into the field of marketing and development, with organizations like CPI Security, Infinite Magazine, and NCCU School of Law. He volunteers regularly at his elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as at UNCG and his church, Berean Baptist.
In 2015, Deryle married his college sweetheart, Desirée Daniels. They currently reside in Durham, NC and enjoy traveling and experiencing cultures across the nation and the world in their free time. Deryle blogs five days a week for his professional development blog, The Daniels Daily Reader and often serves as a guest writer for blogs and magazines across the World Wide Web. He loves to exercise and aspires to eventually run in every state in the United States as well as on every continent across the world.
